    Update your QB to the latest release. The latest release is R7 I think and you should update to it.
    After that, run the diagnostic tool again and see what it does.
    If the problem still persists then repair the company file. Make sure that the Nettools.exe is running all the time and the company folder is scanned thoroughly.
    Also make sure that the computer is directly connected to the network with a hardwire and you are good to go.
