QuickBooks unrecoverable error: QuickBooks has experienced a problem and must be shut down.  I recently performed a System Restore on my WINXP PC.  It seemed that QB remained on the drive.  When I tried to open it, error occurred.  I reinstalled QB from disk.  It went so far then said I had to uninstall the program before continuing.  There was no QB in add/remove programs.  I tried numerous times to install.  Finally, it looked like it worked but the above error message appeared.  Help please?

uninstall quickbooks and then rename the Intuit folders to (Intuit old)

    a) c:\program files\intuit

    b) c:\program files\common files\intuit

    c) c:\doc and settings\all users\application data\intuit

    d) c:\doc and settings\all users\application data\common files\intuit

    and then reinstall quickbooks
